World Cancer Day “We Care to Close the Care Gap”
Along with World Cancer Day theme “We Care to Close the Care Gap”, in this day INASO brought the theme “We Care to Close The Care Gap” to public. The Aim of this activity is to raise public awareness to cancer. Hopefully support of family, friends, and general public to cancer patient could eliminate the doubts of cancer patients in seeking health services. Together with cancer survivor, health workers (nurse, lab technician, radiographer) and Doctors who treat cancer in various fields who are member of INASO and Dharmais National Cancer Have Complete 2K fun walk on 19th February 2023 at Kota Tua, Jakarta Indonesia. This event was continued with a talk show for public with the theme “We Care to Close The Care Gap”. Target audience for this event was 250 participants.
To complete the series of WCD activities, INASO also held “How to Close The Care Gap” symposium. This symposium invited representatives from The Ministry of Health of The Republic of Indonesia and National Insurance. This symposium discussed the gap between ministry and national insurance policies with clinical practice in Indonesia. Hopefully this symposium would bring changes in Cancer Services in Indonesia for the better future.
